Social welfare

A social welfare assistant is available at the “Centre de Cancérologie de la Porte de Saint-Cloud” to advise, guide and support patients and families as well as to help them in any procedures that will prevent social and medical welfare difficulties.

Social welfare consultation

According to the needs identified, the social welfare assistance can:

  • Inform and guide patients with regards to administrative and financial questions;
  • Process requests with regards to subsequent care: specialized centres, follow-up treatments and rehabilitation;
  • Organise the return home after hospitalisation or during chemotherapy courses of treatment, provide information and set up various means of assistance (home help, meal deliveries, help getting washed and dressed, special needs assistant, remote alarm, etc.)
